The new Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Anello
Matt black ebony and fine platinized rings |
From the first glance the precious writing
implements from the new Anello Classic Collection seduce one into
taking them into one’s hand. Fountain pens, roller-ball pens,
propelling ballpoint pens and propelling pencils have ebony barrels
into which filigree rings have been incorporated. They dominate the
purist look of the writing implements and lend the collection its
name – "Anello" (Italian for "ring").
What forms a refined contrast visually proves to be a perfect tactile combination: the transitions between the ebony segments and the delicate precious metal rings are barely perceptible. Lying optimally in the hand, the writing instruments have pleasantly even surfaces which give the impression the barrels are made out of one single piece. |
The fountain pen is equipped with a practical cartridge/converter system and a bicoloured 18-carat gold nib with iridium tip.
